IMPROVEMENTS

What could improve Bot Wot? well reducing the width and length of the base. This would increase the chance the front reciever detecting walls earlier and reduce wall collision.

Another improvement worth considering is to have two front sensors and emitters on a slight angle favouring the wall that its following. Not having both turned on at the same of course (through programming). This would reduce the reaction time of the robot hence less collisions due to earlier detection.

Last improvement would be to connect the picaxe and the motors with separate battery packs. Regulating a 9Volt battery to a lower voltage for the motors and using 4.5 Volts for the picaxe. (3 x AA battery box that came with the picaxe). This would increase battery life and allow the the robot to maintain full power.
